It’s pretty obvious that I’ve been taking pics of my food for quite some time now. I wasn’t entirely sure what my end game was, but I knew that I wanted to share my cooking and baking with my friends and family! I was beyond flattered when an old college friend reached out to me and suggested that I start blogging!
Sarah, the sweet and encouraging head blogger at Everyday Sarah Jane, lived down the hall from me our freshman year @ UNH when we were both baby birds, spreading our adult wings. It was nice to hear from her and even nicer that she was impressed by my cooking!
We met up for dinner the other day @ the Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington, MA (which was amazing and reminded me of a small Eataly….if you’ve been to the NYC flagship, I’m sure you can understand. They’re making an Eataly @ the Prudential in Boston but that’s another story for another day) and we caught up over a delicious dinner.
Sarah’s blog, Everyday Sarah Jane, has been an inspiration to me since I started blogging. We have different backgrounds and approaches in regards to cooking, but it’s clear that we both love to entertain and to challenge ourselves in the kitchen. 🙂
It was great to hear tips from her about blogging, marketing, taking pictures, and networking! I have learned quickly that blogging becomes addicting. We also discussed how much we’d love to get paid for the fruits of our labor and maaaaybe be professional bloggers some day. Until that day comes, we’ll keep our day jobs 🙂
Sarah and I are looking forward to working together on developing both of our blogs further and hopefully we’ll be able to inspire others to love cooking as much as we do!
